Trampoline Trick Instruction Videos - Introducing the Amazing NEW Trampoline Course That's The Best Way To Get In Shape - Promote Overall Health and Stay Fit On Your Back Yard Trampoline.Foreword - "Trampolining" is another addition to the Athletic Institute's popular sports series. It has been written and illustrated to help you learn and understand the basic techniques of trampolining. The photographic material in this book has been totally reproduced from the Athletic Institute's sound, color slide film—"Trampolining."
01. Chapter One - For an activity that's packed with thrills and excitement, it's hard to beat trampolining. It's a lot like bouncing up and down on the old spring bed when you were very young...except that you can bounce a lot higher, and the increased area gives you more room to perform stunts.
Besides being a lot of fun, trampolining is a great body conditioner, helping you develop balance, rhythm, coordination, and a keen sense of timing.
02. Chapter Two - In gymnastic meet competition, trampoline performers are required to go through combinations of stunts called routines. Every performer does two routines.
In each of these routines, you're allowed a maximum of 8 contacts with the bed. Judges score the routines on form, continuity, and the difficulty of the stunts.
You can use any combination of stunts in your routines, just so you don't bounce more than 8 times, But, until you become really expert, your best chance of winning is to perfect your form in the beginning stunts.
03. Chapter Three - As your skill in trampolining increases, you'll want to add more difficult stunts to your routines . . . stunts that are more impressive to watch and worth mo." in the judging.
While you're learning these advanced stunts, protect yourself by using a safety belt. If no belt is available...have a spotter or two guide you through each new advanced stunt. One of the most basic is the front somersault.
